The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Virastuk takes the fight into the clinch.
Virastuk landing knees to the body.
Virastuk controlling the action here for a moment.
Virastuk lands a hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Christopher Zeus has been cut.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Virastuk lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Zeus lands a left hand.
Virastuk breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Zeus wants to clinch up but Virastuk keeps it at a distance.
Virastuk connects with a crisp jab.
Virastuk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Zeus swings wildly with an uppercut but Virastuk uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zeus swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Zeus scores with an uppercut up the middle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Zeus pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Virastuk manages to break the clinch.
Virastuk throws a low kick, looking for Zeus's leg but Zeus calmly moves out of range.
Vasily Virastuk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Virastuk pushes Zeus up against the cage in a clinch.
Zeus lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Virastuk landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Virastuk blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Zeus struggles to land a body shot inside as Virastuk controls his hands.
Virastuk breaks the clinch.
Virastuk scores with a leg kick.
Virastuk steps into range and cracks Zeus with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Zeus flops backwards and Virastuk dives into his guard looking to finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Virastuk stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Virastuk instigates a clinch.
Virastuk blocks an elbow strike from Zeus.
Virastuk breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
and Virastuk counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Zeus! He's just covering up as Virastuk starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
