Parker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. - kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ariel Sabio!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roy Parker!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Matheus Silva and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker is looking to clinch but Sabio is avoiding it.
Sabio pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sabio throws a series of punches but Parker moves out of range.
Sabio tries a head kick but it misses.
Parker uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sabio.
Parker throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sabio counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Parker is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Parker looks to throw the jab but Sabio is out of range.
Parker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sabio knocks Parker to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?


Parker is rocked!


It looks like Roy Parker has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sabio is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Parker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Parker is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sabio's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Parker looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parker blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sabio.

Parker is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Sabio pulls his head out easily.

Sabio seems to be working for a kimura but Parker defends the submission attempt.
Parker makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Parker.

Sabio trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Parker looking to control.

Parker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Sabio wants to control from the top but Parker keeps moving.

Sabio drops back looking for a leg! Parker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Parker manages to kick Sabio off! Sabio jumps back into Parker's guard.

Parker looking for a guillotine here but Sabio defends easily.
Parker looks gassed!
Sabio wants to stand but Parker is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sabio decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Parker, up you get!
Parker swinging wilding here.
Sabio throws a head kick that misses.
Parker jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Sabio misses with a looping left.
Parker tries to clinch but fails miserably
enabling Sabio to counter with a crisp jab.
Parker shoots for a takedown but Sabio saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Roy Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sabio fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Parker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sabio circles away quickly and effectively.
Parker tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sabio counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Parker avoids the head kick by Sabio.
Ariel Sabio is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Parker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sabio moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sabio throws a sloppy head kick and Parker moves out of range easily.
Sabio dips to his left and cracks Parker with an uppercut!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sabio cracks Parker with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sabio scores with a jab.
Parker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Parker takes one to the side of the head.
A big left from Sabio misses.
Sabio tries a head kick but it misses.
Parker fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Sabio lands a head kick. Parker smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Sabio misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Parker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A head kick misses from Sabio.
Sabio looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Sabio swats away the attempt to clinch by Parker.
Parker fails in his attempt to clinch.
Parker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sabio is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Parker wants to clinch.
Sabio lands a high kick!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sabio comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Parker misses the jab.
Sabio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sabio dodges the punch combination from Parker.
Sabio throws a head kick but Parker moves out of range.

Parker scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Parker tries for a kimura but Sabio is defending well.
Sabio is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sabio is pressing down on Parker's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Sabio working for a triangle but Parker defends it easily.
Sabio doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ariel Sabio dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Roy Parker's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Parker throws a hook but Sabio avoids it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Parker.
Ariel Sabio is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sabio digs a good hook to Parker's body.
Sabio misses with a hook. Parker ducked under it nicely.
Sabio lands a nice shot to the body.
A right-left combo lands from Sabio.
Sabio fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Parker on the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sabio avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Parker takes a kick to the side of the head.
Parker is still on wobbly legs! Can Sabio finish him?
Sabio getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Sabio lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Sabio circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Parker drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Sabio follows Parker to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ariel Sabio!
