Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill The Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pyotr Korobeikin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bill The Kid! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pyotr Korobeikin! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Kid swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Korobeikin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but The Kid was well out of range. Poor timing from Korobeikin. Korobeikin shoots for a takedown but The Kid saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A jab from Korobeikin finds it's way through The Kid's defenses. Korobeikin misses with a takedown attempt - The Kid sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Korobeikin. The Kid does a little dance to reset his feet. Korobeikin throws a lazy right hand but The Kid sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. The Kid lands a body shot.
The Kid jabbing away but nothing is landing. The Kid lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. We've been told by The Kid's head coaches at Rusterman's that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Korobeikin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but The Kid moves away. Korobeikin staying out of range there. Korobeikin tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Korobeikin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. The Kid misses with a lunging right hand
and Korobeikin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Korobeikin content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Korobeikin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. The Kid is keeping the position for now. The Kid wants to get back to his feet but Korobeikin is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Korobeikin looking to pass the guard. Korobeikin controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Korobeikin trying to control but The Kid is working from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. The Kid uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Korobeikin. Korobeikin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. The Kid slips a jab from Korobeikin. It looked like The Kid was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. The Kid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Korobeikin was well out of range. Poor timing from The Kid. Bill The Kid is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Korobeikin shoots and misses and The Kid counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bill The Kid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pyotr Korobeikin. Korobeikin misses with a hook to the body
and The Kid counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Korobeikin swings and misses with a shot to the body letting The Kid counter with a right hand. Korobeikin missing with a left hand there. The Kid was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Korobeikin throws out a powerful jab. Korobeikin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The Kid throws Korobeikin to one side and escapes!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Korobeikin throws a hook to the side of The Kid's head but The Kid sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nice defenses there by Korobeikin. A decent looking cross lands there for The Kid. Pyotr Korobeikin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Korobeikin loads up on a big right hand but The Kid slips the punch. The Kid lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Korobeikin displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as The Kid throws out the jab. Korobeikin scores with a punch to the head. Korobeikin works The Kid's body with a nice hook. The Kid is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. The Kid misses with a right hand and Korobeikin counters with a shoot takedown. The Kid fights it but they end up in guard. The Kid knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Korobeikin on the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Korobeikin sitting in guard, not really doing much. The Kid keeping moving, preventing Korobeikin from controlling successfully. Korobeikin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Korobeikin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed The Kid's guard. Korobeikin trying to control from half guard but The Kid is working away. Korobeikin seems to be working for a kimura but The Kid defends the submission attempt. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Korobeikin in particular looking to stall. Korobeikin wants to control but The Kid is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bill The Kid will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

and The Kid counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Korobeikin lands a really nice looking cross but The Kid seems unphased.
Nice straight punches there by Korobeikin. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Korobeikin. Korobeikin slips under a jab from The Kid. The Kid ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Korobeikin moves away. The Kid takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The Kid is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The Kid takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. The Kid feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Korobeikins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Korobeikin moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. The Kid misses with a hook.

A counter left hand to the body from The Kid misses its target. The Kid walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Korobeikin just misses with a punch to the body.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Korobeikin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. The Kid did well to prevent Korobeikin getting side control. The Kid manages to escape and get back to his feet! Bill The Kid is winning the standup battle so far. This has been an exciting period of action! Korobeikin throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck The Kid on the side of the head. The Kid uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. A jab from Korobeikin misses. The Kid listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. The Kid looks to land a right hand but Korobeikin moved out of range. The Kid scores with a sloppy right hand. Korobeikin should have avoided that one. The Kid just misses with a punch to the body.

Korobeikin is rocked! The Kid drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Korobeikin's head, knocking him out cold! The Kid is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bill The Kid! Our winner, Bill The Kid, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
