Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben Breeze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stan Judea!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breeze tries for a takedown but Judea sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Judea looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Ben Breeze seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Breeze has his takedown stuffed
and Judea counters with a nice uppercut.
Breeze swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A countering left hand to the body from Judea misses.
Judea cracks Breeze with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Breeze on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Breeze avoids the head kick by Judea.
Judea throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Breeze rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Judea moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A little jabbing left from Judea on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Breeze misses with a takedown
and Judea counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Breeze. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Breeze scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Judea connects with an inside leg kick.
Judea buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Breeze walks into a stiff left hand from Judea.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Judea doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Judea scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Breeze shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Judea pinned against the cage. Judea gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Judea! But no joy.
Breeze takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Breeze throws a right and a left that Judea avoids nicely.
Judea looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Breeze ducks right into an uppercut from Judea.
Stan Judea is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Judea moves forwards but Breeze connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Breeze drops his hands momentarily and Judea takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Breeze doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Judea counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Judea scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Judea lands the left hand.
Judea connects with a jab.
Judea scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Breeze doesn't seem bothered though.
Breeze throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Judea sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Judea darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Breeze dives in for a single leg takedown but Judea sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Judea lands with a nice body punch.
Breeze has his takedown stuffed
and Judea counters with a nice uppercut.
Breeze swings for the body but Judea moves out of range.
Judea's jab looks to have found its range, popping Breeze under the eye.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Judea lands a big right hand that sends Breeze crashing to the mat! Judea stays standing though and waves Breeze back to his feet!
Breeze is rocked!
Judea lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Breeze falls backwards - clearly groggy! Judea dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stan Judea!
Stan Judea decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
