Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Martin Dahlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and TJ Mcgregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Martin Dahlin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of New York, TJ Mcgregor! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dahlin shoots in for a takedown but Mcgregor shows good takedown defense. Mcgregor gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Mcgregor pushes Dahlin off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. TJ Mcgregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dahlin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mcgregor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. This has been an exciting period of action! Mcgregor wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dahlin, who protects the arm well. Dahlin avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Mcgregor. Mcgregor works to advance to full mount. Dahlin defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Mcgregor lands a big shot there that rocks Dahlin but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Mcgregor lands a nice shot to the head. Dahlin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dahlin tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcgregor avoids the attempt from Dahlin to control. Mcgregor has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Dahlin really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Mcgregor content just to control the position here. Mcgregor breaks from Dahlin's wrist control and lands an elbow. Mcgregor is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mcgregor trying to control but Dahlin is having none of it. Mcgregor looking to control and managing it successfully. Dahlin can't escape the position.
Mcgregor wants to finish this one by submission but Dahlin is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Mcgregor.

Dahlin is trying desperately to improve position. Mcgregor wants to control the pace but Dahlin is squirming around nicely. Mcgregor connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mcgregor with a couple of short strikes. Dahlin tries to get back to half guard but can't. Mcgregor looking to control but Dahlin is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dahlin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dahlin is desperately trying to improve his position but Mcgregor has a good base and remains in mount. Mcgregor lands a big shot there that rocks Dahlin but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Mcgregor raining down shots from the mount! Mcgregor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dahlin is looking to escape. Dahlin keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dahlin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mcgregor on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mcgregor trying to control but he's not successful this time. Dahlin bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Dahlin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Dahlin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Mcgregor is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dahlin defends well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dahlin wants to sweep here but Mcgregor controlling him for the moment. Dahlin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mcgregor has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Dahlin wants to get back to his feet but Mcgregor is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mcgregor passes into half guard. Dahlin is looking for a sweep. Mcgregor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dahlin is staying active underneath Mcgregor, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Dahlin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mcgregor trying to control the pace. Mcgregor frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Dahlin is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcgregor tries to control but Dahlin wriggling away. Mcgregor with good strikes from the mount here! Mcgregor fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Mcgregor is standing up, even though he is in mount. Mcgregor moves into the clinch. Dahlin keeps control of Mcgregor as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Mcgregor's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dahlin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mcgregor circles away. Mcgregor scores with a takedown into Dahlin's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dahlin wants to hit a switch here but Mcgregor passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Dahlin there! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mcgregor is looking to slow Dahlin down with leg kicks. Martin Dahlin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. A right-left combo lands from Mcgregor. Mcgregor has closed the distance and engaged Dahlin in a clinch.
Mcgregor is defending well against a takedown attempt. Mcgregor is trying to trip Dahlin. He has hold of a leg but Dahlin is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Mcgregor persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Mcgregor stands up from guard. Let's bang! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mcgregor closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Dahlin did well to prevent Mcgregor getting side control. Mcgregor seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dahlin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Dahlin is pressing down on Mcgregor's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Mcgregor is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Mcgregor stands up from guard. Let's bang! TJ Mcgregor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcgregor displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dahlin. Mcgregor feints the counter takedown. Dahlin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mcgregor swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin Dahlin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crunch! Mcgregor slams his shin into Dahlin's torso. Dahlin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mcgregor to score an easy takedown into full guard. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dahlin's guard. Mcgregor pushes down on Dahlin's leg and manages to get into half guard. Mcgregor passes to full mount! Mcgregor landing shots from mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mcgregor wants to control the pace but Dahlin is squirming around nicely.
And that's the end of the fight! TJ Mcgregor comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mcgregor has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
