0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jamaal Demmy! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Demmy darts in trying to clinch so England counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Demmy looking to control.
England with a flurry of punches that miss. England postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Demmy is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of England, into his guard. England keeping moving, preventing Demmy from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Demmy looking to pass the guard. Demmy must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Demmy trying to control the position from guard on top but England is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. England is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Demmy presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. England successfully pulls guard.
England working for a triangle but Demmy defends it easily.
Demmy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with England. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. England has his foot on Demmy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Demmy works his way back into a safe position though. England escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Demmy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. England really is a fat lump.

Demmy with a flurry of punches that miss. England trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Demmy stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! England throws up his legs and catches Demmy in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Demmy tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by England! That came out of nowhere!
