Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Sertho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Ledley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Sertho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Ledley! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sertho throws a head kick that misses. Ledley moves out of range as Sertho throws a body kick.
Ledley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sertho looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee asks Ledley politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Ledley prefers to stall for the moment though. Sertho is looking to regain half guard here but Ledley keeps moving and retains side control. Ledley is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Sertho has escaped the position, nice work there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sertho tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ledley wants to stand but Sertho is controlling his arm. Sertho gets back to half guard. Sertho manages to get to full guard.
Ledley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ledley engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Sertho has Ledley pulled in close to control his posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sertho had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ledley defends it easily. Ledley looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Ledley with a flurry of punches that miss. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ledley controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Sertho really is a fat lump. Sertho tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ledley is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Sertho fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ledley to the ground. Sertho is now in Ledley's guard. Ledley is pulling down on Sertho's head. It's preventing any offense from Sertho, at least for the moment. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ledley wants to sweep here but Sertho controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sertho throws a big right hand that misses. Sertho trying to control the position from guard on top but Ledley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Ledley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sertho was covering up waiting for the punch and Ledley finishes the takedown easily into guard. Ledley wants to control from the top but Sertho keeps moving. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sertho working a defensive guard here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jacob Sertho will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Sertho fails with a takedown attempt. Ledley steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Sertho. Sertho fails to land the takedown. Sertho avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Sertho tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ledley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sertho somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacob Sertho. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ledley drives through with a takedown into Sertho's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Sertho is trying to control the position but Ledley postures up.

Ledley wants to pass the guard but Sertho is keeping the position. Ledley loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ledley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sertho did well to prevent Ledley getting side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ledley thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Ledley looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Ledley frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Ledley controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sertho manages to regain half guard. Good work. Ledley throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ledley sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sertho defending well though. Ledley tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Sertho. That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ledley is taking a breather. Sertho says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Sertho preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Ledley passes to side control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ledley controlling the position. Ledley decides to take the fight back to the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Ledley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Ledley creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Sertho sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Ledley stands up and beckons Sertho to his feet. Sertho closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ledley circles away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sertho pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Ledley looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ledley controls from within his opponent's guard. Sertho is trying to keep Ledley in close.
Sertho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ledley passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ledley tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Sertho parries the strikes from Ledley easily there. Ledley is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sertho to escape.
Ledley is staying tight to Sertho's torso, preventing him from escaping. You can see the frustration on Sertho's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ledley controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Let's hope that Ledley has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

John Ledley is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Sertho gets caught flat footed, as Ledley shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! John Ledley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ledley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
