Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Burt Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Rydelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rydelli has chosen ZOË - Loin d’ici as his entrance music. Rydelli has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Burt Fox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daniel Rydelli! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fox fails to land the takedown. Rydelli shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fox counters with a two punch combo. Rydelli looks winded! Fox stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fox wants it to stay on the feet. A counter left hand to the body from Fox misses its target. Rydelli moves into the clinch successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fox tries to circle away but Rydelli has him pinned against the cage. Fox doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Rydelli keeps control of Fox as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fox wants to break free but Rydelli has control.
Rydelli wants a takedown but no success here.
Burt Fox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Rydelli. Rydelli is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Fox could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Fox breaks the clinch.
Rydelli forces Fox back against the cage and clinches. Fox breaks the clinch.
Fox scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Fox leaves Rydelli with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fox seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fox shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rydelli manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Fox working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rydelli working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fox. Fox wants to control from the top but Rydelli keeps moving. Fox sitting in guard here, content to control. Fox wanted to stand there but Rydelli had control of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fox trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Rydelli is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Rydelli fails with the takedown and Fox counters with a series of strikes. Rydelli will be more careful next time no doubt. Fox lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Fox scores with a nice body kick.
Fox throws a sloppy head kick and Rydelli moves out of range easily. Daniel Rydelli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rydelli keeps the fight on the outside. Rydelli tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fox defends well and Rydelli ends up having to push Fox into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Fox tries to clinch but Rydelli moves out of range. Rydelli throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Fox is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Fox rushes Rydelli and presses him up against the cage. Fox avoiding damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Rydelli jumps guard but Fox stands there with Rydelli around his waist. Rydelli gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Burt Fox dominated that round. That's time! Fox's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Fox shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Rydelli kicks Fox off and gets back to his feet. Fox feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Fox has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rydelli is proving hard to escape from. Burt Fox overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fox trying to control the position from guard on top but Rydelli is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rydelli is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rydelli throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Rydelli looking for a guillotine here but Fox defends easily.
Fox wanted to stand there but Rydelli had control of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fox content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Fox has closed the distance and engaged Rydelli in a clinch.
Fox looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Fox breaks from the clinch.
Rydelli misses with a takedown attempt - Fox sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Fox darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fox controlling the action here. Fox decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Fox lands a right hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Nice sprawl there from Fox as Rydelli shoots in. Sloppy strikes from Fox. Those never looked like landing. Fox moves in looking to clinch but Rydelli pushes him off. Fox misses with a looping right. Fox shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Rydelli is trying to defend but Fox finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Rydelli tries to kick Fox off in order to stand up. Fox Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Burt Fox dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Fox is looking to clinch but Rydelli is avoiding it.
Rydelli gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fox counters with a left to the body. Nice body punch from Fox. Burt Fox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fox is looking to clinch. Fox misses with a few strikes there.

Rydelli blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Fox manages to break the clinch.
Rydelli fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fox avoids it really well and circles away. Fox tries to clinch up but Rydelli circles away and keeps his distance. Fox throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fox misses the shot to the body. Rydelli shoots in looking for a takedown. Fox tries to sprawl out of it but Rydelli keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fox manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Burt Fox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Rydelli. The fight moves into the clinch position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fox misses with an elbow strike.
Fox tries to break the clinch but Rydelli is controlling the position. Rydelli tries to pull guard but Fox holds him up against the cage and eventually Rydelli drops back down to his feet.
Rydelli has Fox pressed against the cage, preventing Fox from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Rydelli wants a takedown.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fox tries to circle away but Rydelli has him pinned against the cage. Daniel Rydelli has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Burt Fox is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fox wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rydelli has him pressed against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Burt Fox showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fox has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
