The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mc Gregor has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mc Gregor breaks from the clinch.
Kohli throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mc Gregor.
Mc Gregor shoots for a double leg takedown but Kohli sprawls well. He's pushed Mc Gregor's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kohli lands with a shot to the body.
Kohli misses with a lunging right hand
and Mc Gregor counters with a good low kick that Kohli was not able to check.
Mc Gregor lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Mc Gregor is trying to pull guard but Kohli turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Mc Gregor - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Mc Gregor closes the distance and clinches up with Kohli, looking for a takedown. Mc Gregor pushes Kohli against the cage but Kohli circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
It seemed like Kohli was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mc Gregor is looking for a sweep. Kohli is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kohli stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Mc Gregor moves into range and clinches up with Kohli.
Mc Gregor pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brano Mc Gregor dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Virat Kohli's cut.

Kohli walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Mc Gregor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kohli can do to turn this around?
Kohli gets tackled into the cage by Mc Gregor. Mc Gregor maintains the clinch.
Mc Gregor lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kohli backwards.
Mc Gregor goes for a takedown attempt but Kohli pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Kohli throws a hook but Mc Gregor blocks it.
Kohli throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mc Gregor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kohli but Kohli pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kohli is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mc Gregor is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kohli to the mat. Kohli regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mc Gregor controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Mc Gregor works over Kohli with some ground and pound from guard.
Kohli wants to stand up but Mc Gregor is controlling him.
Mc Gregor has gone for a leg lock! Kohli slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mc Gregor's guard.
Mc Gregor is trying to control the position but Kohli postures up.

Mc Gregor has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kohli can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kohli tries to free his leg and advance position but Mc Gregor is retaining full guard.

Mc Gregor is looking for a triangle but Kohli pushes his legs off easily.
Kohli stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mc Gregor swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mc Gregor is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Mc Gregor wants to stand up but Kohli is controlling him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kohli lying in Mc Gregor's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Mc Gregor decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Kohli taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
