Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Domagoj Glavas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Magnus Carlsen!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carlsen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Glavas's guard.
Glavas bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Carlsen's guard.

Carlsen can't keep his opponent in guard - Glavas advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Glavas uses his free foot to push down on Carlsen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Carlsen.
Carlsen manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Carlsen is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Glavas pulls his head out easily.
Carlsen moves into full guard.

Carlsen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Glavas can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Carlsen has his foot on Glavas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Glavas works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We've been hearing good reports from Glavas's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close round but I would say that Domagoj Glavas will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Glavas is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Carlsen has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Glavas is looking for the choke from the back position but Carlsen is controlling his hands well.

Glavas has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Carlsen is defending well but eventually Glavas manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Carlsen has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
