Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Sanches (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Victor Sanches! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sanches looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Sanches pushes Jones away with a front kick. Sanches takes a shot right to the bread basket. Sanches cracks Jones with an open hand slap. Jones slips under a jab from Sanches. Jones tries to bum rush Sanches with a series of wild strikes but Sanches uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Jones scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sanches doesn't seem bothered though. Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Jones lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
It looks like Victor Sanches has been cut. Sanches looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jones works over Sanches's head and body with a nice combination. Jones moves into the clinch. Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones lunges at Sanches with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sanches's hand. Jones lands a jab to the head.
Jones pushes Sanches up against the cage in a clinch. Our sources have told us that Jones has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Jones manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones scores with a jab. Donk. Jones catches Sanches right on the button with a cross. Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing. Jones takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Victor Sanches seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sanches misses with a combination
and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Sanches is rocked! Jones cracks Sanches with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Sanches falls to his knees and Jones doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
