Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sendou Kitano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rail Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kitano might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Yoshida Brothers - Ibuki. Rail Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sendou Kitano! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rail Gracie! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Gracie misses its intended target. Kitano throwing a counter right hand but Gracie manages to avoid it. Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kitano sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat. Kitano thows a left - swing and a miss! Gracie is looking for the big counter here. Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kitano counters by moving into the clinch. Kitano breaks the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kitano throws a poor cross that misses
and Gracie counters with a nice body kick.
A shot to the liver by Gracie. Beautiful body shot. Kitano throws a series of punches but Gracie avoids them all with ease. Gracie throws a head kick that misses. Gracie looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kitano connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Kitano closes the distance and pushes Gracie back into the cage. Gracie lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Kitano lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Kitano pushes Gracie back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Kitano breaks the clinch.
Kitano looks to throw the jab but Gracie is out of range. Kitano fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gracie manages to avoid it. Kitano tries a low kick but Gracie avoids it. Gracie appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Kitano goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. It seemed like Gracie was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. A head kick misses from Gracie. Sendou Kitano is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Gracie throws a head kick but Kitano moves out of range.
Kitano lands a jab to Gracie's midsection. Gracie uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kitano.
Gracie follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gracie misses with a head kick.
Kitano appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Gracie moves into the clinch. Gracie's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Kitano tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Kitano prevents the takedown attempt.
Sendou Kitano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rail Gracie. Gracie on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kitano scores with an uppercut up the middle. Kitano misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Gracie.

Kitano breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kitano connects with a body shot that sends Gracie's belly button to the back. Kitano takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gracie performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Kitano is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Forest Hill Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Kitano trying to hold on to Gracie's head to control him but Gracie postures up.
Gracie content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gracie moves in looking to clinch but Kitano pushes him off. A jab from Kitano misses. Gracie lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. A jab from Kitano misses. Gracie looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Kitano motions for Gracie to come forward. Kitano throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Kitano throws a predictable looking body shot
and Gracie counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. A head kick misses from Gracie. Gracie throws a sloppy head kick and Kitano moves out of range easily. Gracie throws a lazy head kick and Kitano counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kitano ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gracie moves away. Gracie is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kitano with a body shot. Gracie throws a head kick that misses. Kitano swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Kitano misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gracie.
Kitano is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gracie can do to turn this around? A looping hook to the body misses from Kitano. Gracie does a little dance to reset his feet. Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Kitano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Gracie forces Kitano back against the cage and clinches. Gracie is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kitano gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Kitano working Gracie over with knees to the body. Gracie is breathing heavily. Kitano breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gracie takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kitano feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down. Kitano tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Kitano. Kitano lunges at Gracie with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gracie's hand. Kitano lands a right hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kitano connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Gracie's hands. Gracie misses with a head kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Kitano misses its target. Gracie moves forwards but Kitano connects with a nice, crisp jab. Kitano lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kitano waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gracie. Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Kitano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gracie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Gracie wants to take the fight to the mat but Kitano manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Sendou Kitano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rail Gracie. Kitano escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Gracie takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. A nice leg kick lands there from Kitano. Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kitano as he avoids it easily. Kitano moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off. Gracie looks to score with a jab to the body but Kitano is just out of range. Gracie takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Gracie darts in and clinches Kitano up against the cage. Gracie letting Kitano take a breather here. Kitano misses with a hook to the ribs.
Rail Gracie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Sendou Kitano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rail Gracie. Good exchange - Kitano coming out on top. Kitano fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Gracie takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kitano takes a kick to the side of the head. Kitano scoring well with a low kick there.

Kitano looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range. That kick from Kitano tenderised Gracie's leg. Gracie is trying to keep his angry face on.
And that's the end of the fight! Sendou Kitano showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kitano, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
