Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harry Slater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pegg Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frost comes into a darkened arena with his song building. enter sandman by metallica kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Pegg Frost has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Harry Slater's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Harry Slater! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
35 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pegg Frost! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frost drops Slater with a right and a left! Frost comes rushing in but Slater regains his composure and manages to keep Frost in guard.
It looks like Harry Slater has been cut. Slater looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slater wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Slater is on top in guard.
Frost is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Slater has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Frost not doing much here.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Slater tries to bum rush Frost with a series of wild strikes but Frost uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Frost is looking for the big counter here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slater throws a combination. Frost tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Slater fails with an attempt to clinch.
Frost moves out of range of the strikes. Slater dives in and grabs Frost's left leg, looking for a takedown. Frost pushes down on Slater's head and hops out. Slater wants to clinch up but Frost keeps it at a distance. Slater darts in looking for a takedown but Frost gets double underhooks and turns Slater into the cage. Nice shot lands for Slater. Slater swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Slater moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Slater throws a right hand that misses
and Frost counters with a series of strikes. Slater will be more careful next time no doubt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Frost gets a clinch. Slater tries for a takedown. No joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry Slater. That's going to take a lot out of him. Frost gets underhooks to prevent Slater's takedown attempt.
Slater's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Slater tries to pull guard but Frost holds him up against the cage and eventually Slater drops back down to his feet.
Slater has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Frost is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frost is defending well against a takedown attempt. Slater is looking for a takedown. Slater has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Frost avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Frost unloads a knee to the mid-section. Slater lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Slater is breathing heavily. Slater has a couple of punches blocked by Frost.

Slater is looking for a takedown. A knee to the head by Frost.

Harry Slater's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. A short body shot lands from Frost as the two fighters clinch.
Oh Slater is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Frost with a knee to the head.

Pegg Frost dominated that round. The cut man is working on Harry Slater's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Slater seems to have got his legs back now. Frost prevents a takedown attempt there.
Frost has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Slater takes a shot to the head. Slater can't get the takedown.
Slater drops down looking for an ankle pick but Frost pulls his leg out and moves away.

Pegg Frost seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slater changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Frost fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Slater clobbers Frost with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Frost closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Frost tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Slater tries to score a body lock takedown but Frost shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Frost misses with an elbow strike.
Slater is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Frost pulls him back up using the underhooks. Slater lands a takedown into guard.
Slater is fighting to break Frost's control of his arms but Frost is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Frost is trying to keep Slater in close.
Frost wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Slater wants to control from the top but Frost keeps moving. Frost wants to sweep here but Slater controlling him for the moment. Slater controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frost thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Slater slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Frost keeping full guard, as Slater tries to pass. Slater is working hard here to advance position. Slater trying to control but Frost is working from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Frost closes the distance and clinches. Nice elbow from Frost. Frost lands a damaging elbow.
Jeez, Harry Slater's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Slater blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Slater takes an elbow to the temple.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Harry Slater's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Pegg Frost! Pegg Frost bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
