Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chanar Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan comes into the arena with Royal Blood - Careless blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chanar Khan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rob Clark! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Clark, pushing him back against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Khan. Khan manages to pull guard.
Clark wants to control from the top but Khan keeps moving. Clark pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Khan is keeping the position for now. Khan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clark preventing the sweep. Clark looking to pass the guard. Khan keeping moving, preventing Clark from controlling successfully. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Clark off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. The fight moves into the clinch position. Clark has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Clark tries to pull guard but Khan forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Khan pulls Clark into guard.
Clark is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Khan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Clark trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clark throwing strikes from guard but Khan blocks nicely. Clark tries to free his leg and advance position but Khan is retaining full guard. Khan is pulling down on Clark's head. It's preventing any offense from Clark, at least for the moment. Khan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Clark on the ground. Clark with a flurry of punches that miss. Clark loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Khan on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Khan tries to get out of the position. Khan wants to stand but Clark is controlling the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Khan misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Clark is trying to defend but Khan finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Clark is looking to escape. Khan seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Clark is trying to get back to full guard. Clark looks like he's trying to stand up.
Khan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Clark wants to control but Khan is keeping busy and won't allow it. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Khan gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Chanar Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Khan gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Khan slowing the pace effectively. Clark tries for a takedown but Khan manages to get underhooks.

Chanar Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Clark. Khan pulls guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Clark trying to control the position from guard on top but Khan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Clark throwing strikes from guard but Khan blocks nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chanar Khan dominated that round. That's time! Khan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Khan instigates a clinch. Khan has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Clark uses from the top position. Clark trying to control but Khan is working from the bottom. Khan looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Clark in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Khan is adopting a defensive guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clark wants to control from the top but Khan keeps moving. Clark stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Khan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Khan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Clark can do to turn this around? Khan scores with a nice hook to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! An uppercut to the body lands inside from Khan. Clark is trying to force a seperation but Khan has the dominant position. Khan digs a right hand underneath Clark's ribcage. Clark let out a lung full of air as it connected. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chanar Khan dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Clark drops down looking for an ankle pick but Khan pulls his leg out and moves away.

Khan has one foot on Clark's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Clark rushes Khan and presses him up against the cage. Still in the clinch, Khan scores with a nice short uppercut. Khan wants a takedown but no success here.
Khan is pressed up against the cage. Clark has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Khan down to the mat. Khan avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Khan gets a clinch. Khan holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Clark is trying to force a seperation but Khan has the dominant position. Clark jumps guard but Khan stands there with Clark around his waist. Clark gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Clark is trying to push Khan away but Khan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Khan misses with the head strike.
Khan just leaning against Clark, taking a breather. Khan slowing the pace effectively. Still in the clinch, Khan scores with a nice short uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Khan lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Rob Clark is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Clark clinches. Khan lands with a left to the head. Khan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Khan lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Clark is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Khan pulls him back up using the underhooks. Khan scores with a nice hook to the head. Clark tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Chanar Khan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Khan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Clark tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Khan swivels and escapes. Clark stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Clark wants it to stay on the feet. Khan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Khan lands in his opponent's guard. Khan stays in close to Clark's body and controls the position. Rob Clark has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Clark working for a triangle but Khan defends it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Chanar Khan showed his dominance in that final round. Well Khan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Chanar Khan! In his post fight interview, Chanar Khan started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
