Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between El Matador (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Shot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, El Matador!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sebastian Shot!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matador takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Shot tests Matador's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sebastian Shot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Matador on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Shot sizes up Matador with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Matador dives in and grabs Shot's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shot pushes down on Matador's head and hops out.
Shot is looking for the big counter here.
Shot bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Shot misses with a straight right.
Shot connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Shot lands a jab-cross combination.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Matador shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Shot sprawls well. Shot wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Matador gets slowly back to his feet.

Nice straight punches there by Shot. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Shot.

Shot throws the left hand but Matador avoids the punch easily.
Shot lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Matador counters with a takedown into side control.
Shot can't do much from the bottom here.
Shot might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Matador haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Matador is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Shot knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Matador goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Shot has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Matador but great work by Shot.

Shot decides to stand back up. Shot steps back and let's Matador get back to his feet.
Shot cracks Matador with a good jab.
Matador changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shot tries to avoid it but Matador manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shot to the ground. Shot escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for El Matador. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Shot punishes Matador's body with a nice straight punch.
Shot lands a nice shot that snaps Matador's head back.
Sebastian Shot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Matador fails with the takedown.
Shot connects with a body shot.

and Matador counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Matador fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shot avoids it really well and circles away.

Shot unleashes a big counter combination but Matador bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Matador tries to clinch there but Shot circles away.
Matador moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Shot throws a push kick but Matador slaps the foot to one side.
Shot darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Shot waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Matador.
Matador takes a jab right on the kisser.
Shot cracks Matador with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Shot scores with a hook to the body. Matador takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matador shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Shot's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Shot duly obliges.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters circle momentarily. Shot darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Matador closes the distance and clinches up with Shot, looking for a takedown. Matador pushes Shot against the cage but Shot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Matador changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Matador fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Shot pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Matador changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shot looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Shot is on top in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
