The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fadden throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A slow jab from Fadden misses its intended target.
Dreesen throws a nice looking combination but Fadden bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Dreesen dodges the punch combination from Fadden.
Fadden misses with a head kick.
Fadden thuds his right hand into Dreesen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Dreesen lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like John Fadden has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dreesen stands up.
Fadden swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
As Fadden backs off Dreesen throws a huge counter combo but Fadden manages to avoid it all.

Fadden lands a left and a right that send Dreesen crashing to the mat, dazed. Fadden thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Virgil Dreesen has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dreesen is rocked!
Dreesen takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Fadden weaves into range and cracks Dreesen right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Dreesen goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Fadden is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
