Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marek Koltun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan has chosen Beast as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Marek Koltun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Andrew Ryan! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koltun fails with a takedown attempt. We've been hearing reports that Koltun has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. A looping hook to the body misses from Ryan. Koltun does a little dance to reset his feet. Ryan pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Ryan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. A decent looking body kick lands there for Ryan. Koltun fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ryan manages to avoid it. Ryan looks to land a right hand but Koltun moved out of range. Andrew Ryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Koltun shoots in for a takedown but Ryan shows good takedown defense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryan throws a shot from downtown. Koltun moves away and avoids it. Koltun jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Koltun moves out of range of the strikes. Koltun moves out of range of the body kick from Ryan.
Koltun feinted there with a counter leg kick. Ryan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Koltun on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Koltun throws a body shot but no joy. Koltun avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ryan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Koltun.

Ryan's corner calls for a 1-2. Ryan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Ryan throws a body shot but no joy. Ryan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Koltun gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Ryan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Koltun sees it coming and avoids it easily. Koltun slips a jab from Ryan. Ryan throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Koltun counters with a straight right hand. Nice uppercut there from Ryan. Ryan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Koltun feints and as Ryan raises his hands in defense, Koltun changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Koltun controlling from the top position. Ryan looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koltun trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Ryan pulls Koltun in close to his closed guard and prevents Koltun from doing any damage or advancing position. Koltun throws a big elbow that misses. Koltun throws a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koltun looking to pass the guard. Ryan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ryan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Koltun trying to control the position from guard on top but Ryan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ryan throws a lazy head kick and Koltun counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Koltun working over Ryan with some ground and pound. Ryan looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Koltun wants to pass to mount but Ryan is defending the position. That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryan trying to hold on to Koltun's head to control him but Koltun postures up.
Koltun winds up and cracks Ryan with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Koltun throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Koltun thows a huge punch but Ryan dodges it nicely.

Koltun is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ryan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Andrew Ryan will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ryan swings and misses with a shot to the body and Koltun counters with a stiff right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ryan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Koltun. Koltun thows a huge punch but Ryan dodges it nicely.
Ryan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Koltun throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Ryan to regain full guard. Koltun is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Ryan is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Koltun tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ryan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ryan throws a head kick that Koltun semi-blocks.
It looks like Marek Koltun has been cut. Koltun shoots in looking for a takedown. Ryan tries to sprawl out of it but Koltun keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ryan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ryan takes a swing at Koltun's ribcage but misses. Koltun throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ryan's waist but Ryan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Koltun off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marek Koltun. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ryan throws a shot from downtown. Koltun moves away and avoids it. Koltun walks into a stiff left hand from Ryan. Ryan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Ryan moves forwards but Koltun connects with a nice, crisp jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Koltun slips a jab from Ryan. Koltun appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Ryan tries to score with a low kick but Koltun moves his leg out of the way. Koltun wants to clinch but Ryan slips to the side and Ryan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ryan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Koltun takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andrew Ryan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Marek Koltun's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Ryan is still on wobbly legs! Can Koltun finish him? Koltun thumps Ryan with a low kick. A punch lands to the side of Koltun 's head but he takes it in his stride. Ryan thows a leg kick but Koltun checks it and Koltun counters with a crisp right that sends Ryan to the canvas! Koltun follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marek Koltun! In his post fight interview, Marek Koltun started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
