Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Borg Bunting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spartacus Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Borg Bunting has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunting throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Halo's head.
Halo looking to score a takedown here. Bunting is defending well but Halo drives through and ends up in Bunting's guard.
Halo is looking to work some ground and pound but Bunting has wrist control.
Halo wants to pass the guard but Bunting is keeping the position.
Bunting is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

And Halo tries to counter it with a takedown but Bunting pushes his down on his head and steps out.

The fighters circling - Bunting throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

It looked like Bunting was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Halo.

Bunting fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Halo manages to avoid it.

Halo lands with a thumping leg kick.
Halo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bunting fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Halo, pushing him back against the cage.

Halo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Halo throws a punch but it's blocked by Bunting.
Halo works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Halo looking to sit in guard and control but Bunting gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Bunting not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Halo wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Bunting is now in half guard.

Bunting with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Halo is trying to get back to full guard.
Halo wants to sweep but Bunting has passed to side control!
Halo is trying to control Bunting's posture but Bunting avoids it.
A lull in the action here as Bunting stalls from top position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bunting misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bunting lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Bunting throws a body shot but no joy.
Bunting finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Halo wants to clinch up but Bunting keeps it at a distance.
Bunting stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Halo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bunting as he avoids it easily.
Bunting throws a big counter combination but Halo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Bunting uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Halo.
Halo steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Bunting. That one must have hurt.

Halo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bunting's waist but Bunting gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Halo off to one side.

Bunting is pressed up against the cage. Halo has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bunting down to the mat. Bunting avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Halo has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Halo in particular looking to stall.

Halo is desperately trying to improve his position but Bunting has a good base and remains in mount.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bunting, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
