The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan throws a left that rocks Mudgett and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jordan dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Mudgett regain composure!
Mudgett is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jordan cracks Mudgett with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Jordan immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Mudgett is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Jordan!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Edwin Jordan!
A relieved looking Edwin Jordan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
