Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tweedle Dum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Schopenhauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schopenhauer has chosen London Calling as his entrance music. Tweedle Dum has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tweedle Dum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Arthur Schopenhauer!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schopenhauer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dum.
Dum throws the left hand but Schopenhauer avoids the punch easily.

Dum clinches up with Schopenhauer and pushes him back against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Dum.
Schopenhauer blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Schopenhauer has picked Dum up - he's going for a ride! Schopenhauer dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Dum's coaches at Hey Steves Fight Shack have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Dum on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dum tries to get out of the position.
Schopenhauer takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Dum has hold of Schopenhauer's hands but Schopenhauer slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Dum is defending against the submission attempts here by Schopenhauer.

Schopenhauer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dum doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Schopenhauer.

Schopenhauer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dum does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Schopenhauer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Schopenhauer not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Schopenhauer seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dum does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Dum is looking to control Schopenhauer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dum avoid being mounted?
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Schopenhauer is looking for a kimura but Dum is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Schopenhauer to get the leverage.
Schopenhauer wants to advance to full mount but Dum doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Dum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Schopenhauer on the ground.
Schopenhauer throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dum works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Dum's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Dum throws a hook but Schopenhauer avoids it easily.
Dum smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Dum misses with an uppercut. Schopenhauer saw that one coming.
Schopenhauer changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Dum throws a jab but it's blocked by Schopenhauer.
Schopenhauer tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Dum.
Dum lands with an uppercut that bounces Schopenhauer off the cage and back into range.
Dum lands a glancing blow to the side of Schopenhauer's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dum thows a left - swing and a miss!
And Schopenhauer tries to counter it with a takedown but Dum pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Dum lands a nice shot that snaps Schopenhauer's head back.
Schopenhauer staying out of range there.

Dum throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dum fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dum throws a shot to the body.
Dum takes a swing at Schopenhauer's ribcage but misses.
Dum throws a body punch but Schopenhauer moves out of range.
Schopenhauer with the counter takedown but Dum avoids it easily.
A big right from Dum misses.
Dum misses with an uppercut

so Schopenhauer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Schopenhauer slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Dum is looking for a sweep.
Schopenhauer throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Schopenhauer is working to tighten his grip on Dum's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dum has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Schopenhauer is really squeezing tight and eventually Dum passes out! Schopenhauer breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Arthur Schopenhauer!
A relieved looking Arthur Schopenhauer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
