The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
No luck for Brooks with that takedown attempt.

Brooks misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A chopping leg kick lands by Lucas.
Brooks has a takedown stuffed.
Travis Lucas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Brooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brooks is defended easily by Lucas.

and Lucas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Anthony Brooks has been cut.
Lucas bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Lucas takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Brooks looks winded!

Brooks takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Lucas lands a nice hook to Brooks's body. Brooks takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brooks on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Look low, kick high! Lucas uses the oldest trick in the book to send Brooks tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Lucas is absolutely delighted - when Brooks wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

In his post fight interview, Travis Lucas started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
