Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nasser El Sonbaty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickson Moura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moura displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from El Sonbaty.
El Sonbaty tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
El Sonbaty shoots in and drives through. Moura sprawls well.

and Moura counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

El Sonbaty has momentary wrist control but Moura slips an elbow through the middle.

El Sonbaty has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Moura can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Moura slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Moura looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
El Sonbaty working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Moura doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Moura manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

El Sonbaty has his foot on Moura's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Moura works his way back into a safe position though.

Moura arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! El Sonbaty's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

After winning the bout, Rickson Moura thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
