Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Sanford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rico Ramano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sanford might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pop That Pussy. Ramano has chosen Hair of the Dog/Nazereth as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanford circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sanford looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Ramano clinches up with Sanford and pushes him back against the cage.
Ramano drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sanford gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ramano tries a knee to the head but Sanford blocks it.
Ramano with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Ramano blocks an elbow strike from Sanford.
Ramano manages to break the clinch.
Ramano fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rico Ramano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Matt Sanford has been cut.
A solid leg kick lands there for Ramano.
Ramano rushes Sanford and presses him up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ramano lands a knee to the head.
Ramano pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ramano tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sanford swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ramano drops Sanford with a beautiful combination! Sanford stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ramano is looking for the KO!
Sanford is rocked!
Ramano forces Sanford back against the cage and clinches.
Oh Sanford is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ramano lands a big knee! That's hurt Sanford! Oh, he's all over the place! Ramano lands another knee that sends Sanford to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rico Ramano!
