Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Huber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaatunut Pulu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Huber comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Kaatunut Pulu acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Huber!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kaatunut Pulu!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huber looks for a takedown but Pulu sprawls well.
No luck for Huber with that takedown attempt.
Pulu is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Huber with a body shot.
Huber dives in and grabs Pulu's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pulu pushes down on Huber's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mario Huber. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Huber throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pulu tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Huber is in Pulu's guard.
Pulu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pulu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Huber. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Huber postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pulu is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Huber throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pulu works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Huber distracts Pulu with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Pulu manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Huber manages to get himself to full guard.

Huber is looking for a triangle here but Pulu uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Pulu is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Huber's shoulder. That is not cool.
Huber is looking for a sweep.
I've been told that Pulu has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.

Huber looking to break Pulu's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Pulu remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Huber will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Huber is looking for the choke from the back position but Pulu is controlling his hands well.
Pulu is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Huber off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
Huber throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Huber has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Pulu has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Huber lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Pulu hold on?!

Huber has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Huber looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Pulu is controlling Huber 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard.

Huber throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Pulu escapes and throws Huber's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Huber is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Huber gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Huber looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Huber shoots for a double leg takedown but Pulu sprawls well. He's pushed Huber's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Huber looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
