Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sidney Petersen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hughie Jamieson!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jamieson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Petersen's waist but Petersen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jamieson off to one side.
Jamieson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Petersen sprawls well. Petersen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jamieson gets slowly back to his feet.
As Jamieson looks to move away, Petersen throws a big counter combo but Jamieson just gets out of the way.

The fight stays on the outside here - Petersen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Jamieson throws a body punch but Petersen moves out of range.

Jamieson wants to get back to his feet but Petersen is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Petersen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jamieson's head.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Petersen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
