Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Moses (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinten Kasper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pedro Moses! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quinten Kasper! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kasper has a takedown stuffed. Kasper keeps the fight on the outside. Kasper shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Moses napping and manages to drive through into side control! Moses seems a little lost for a moment, as Kasper dominates the positioning. Moses is looking to regain half guard here but Kasper keeps moving and retains side control. Kasper is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Kasper scoring with punches and elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kasper taking a breather here.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Kasper might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Moses tries to bench press Kasper off him but Kasper keeps the position. Moses is working hard here to advance position. Kasper controlling the position. Kasper's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kasper is continuing to stall. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moses thuds his right hand into Kasper's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Kasper's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Moses connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kasper scrambles back to his feet. Kasper closes this distance looking for a takedown but Moses circles away. Moses tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kasper manages to circle out of the way. Moses lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Moses darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Kasper has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Moses is working away from the top position though. Kasper is pressing down on Moses's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Kasper pulls Moses in close to his closed guard and prevents Moses from doing any damage or advancing position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kasper tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kasper wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kasper is on top in guard.
Kasper is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Kasper passes easily into side control. Nice work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moses misses with a strike from the bottom. Moses is looking to reverse the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quinten Kasper dominated that round. That's time! Moses's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Moses jabs Kasper right on the nose. Kasper blinks but takes it well. Moses shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kasper as he jumps to the side. Moses looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kasper is fending him off so far but Moses persists. Nope, Kasper circles away and we're back to standing. Kasper lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Kasper walks into a stiff left hand from Moses. Moses swinging wildly here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kasper is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Moses's half guard. Kasper performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Kasper landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Quinten Kasper has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kasper wants to pass to mount but Moses is defending the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moses is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kasper looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moses with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kasper perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Let's hope that Kasper has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The adventures of Kasper the control monster continue. Boring.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Moses throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Kasper counters with a single leg into guard. Moses didn't expect that. Kasper showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Moses keeping full guard, as Kasper tries to pass. Kasper looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kasper closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Moses to the mat! Moses manages to get full guard. Kasper stands and throws Moses's legs to the side, diving into side control. Moses gets back to half guard. Kasper has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Well, if Kasper is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Kasper wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kasper can do anything to dispel that myth. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Kasper. Kasper wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Kasper takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Quinten Kasper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kasper closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Moses did well to prevent Kasper getting side control. Kasper not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Kasper drives through with a takedown into guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kasper is looking to stand up but Moses won't let him. Pedro Moses has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Quinten Kasper is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Moses can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kasper controls the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! Quinten Kasper comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kasper winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
