Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Ellison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellison comes into the arena with Test blaring out of the sound system. Silva has chosen Can't Stop - Red Hot Chili Peppers as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Karl Ellison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva has a takedown stuffed.
Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Silva takes a shot to the body in his stride.

and Ellison counters with a crisp right hand that drops Silva! Ellison lets Silva back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Anthony Silva has been cut.
Karl Ellison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Silva.
Ellison is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Silva's half guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ellison lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Silva quite badly. Silva pulls Ellison in close trying to recover. Ellison postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Silva on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Silva doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Karl Ellison!
A very excited looking Karl Ellison rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
