Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kareem Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Diaz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Shell Shocked. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ethan Carter was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carter throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Diaz counters with a right hand to the body.
Carter is looking to clinch.
It looked like Diaz wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Diaz counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Carter thinking.

Carter shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Diaz defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz thuds a left hand into Carter's body.

letting Diaz counter with a right hand.

Diaz lands a big uppercut and Carter crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Carter looks OK. Diaz waves Carter back to his feet!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Carter is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Diaz doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Carter crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Carter's bad books for that mishap!
