Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Finley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finley comes to the cage accompanied by Real Big. Ryan is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: American Nightmare. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ryan clinches with his opponent.
Ryan is trying to break the clinch but Finley has him pressed against the cage.
Finley can't get the takedown.

Ryan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Finley throws a head kick but Ryan moves out of range.
Ryan misses with a body kick.
Ryan stuffs the takedown attempt from Finley. Finley gets slowly back to his feet.
Ryan throws a head kick that misses.
Ryan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Ryan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Finley but Finley pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Ryan scores with a one two! Finley had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Thomas Ryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good leg kick by Ryan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Finley changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ryan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Finley works to advance to full mount. Ryan defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Finley is going olschool here, as he tries to force Ryan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ryan shrugs it off.

That was a close round but I would say that Dakota Finley will probably get the nod.

Finley has control of Ryan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ryan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ryan is desperately trying to improve his position but Finley has a good base and remains in mount.

Finley is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ryan defends it well.
Ryan pushes Finley off looking to stand but Finley dives back in and keeps control.
Dakota Finley overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Finley seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ryan is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
