The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kroll is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Massu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kroll drops his hands momentarily and Massu takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Joachim Kroll has been cut.
Massu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Massu is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Massu moves out of range of the strikes.
Massu sends Kroll crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Massu is motioning to the referee to let Kroll up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Kroll is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kroll throws a jab but it's blocked by Massu .
Oh Kroll is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kroll slips a jab from Massu .
Kroll seems to have got his legs back now.
Massu connects with a jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Massu .
A nice inside leg kick there by Massu . That's going to slow Kroll down.
Massu staying out of range there.
Kroll takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Massu sends Kroll crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Massu is motioning to the referee to let Kroll up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Kroll throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Massu fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Kroll to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Kroll looks to clinch but Massu throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Kroll taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Fabouzi Massu !
