The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patterson gets caught napping as Munchkin dives in and scores a takedown. Patterson manages to retain guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Munchkin postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Patterson's head off the mat! Patterson is out! He's out! Munchkin jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!

Vladislav Munchkin seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Russell Patterson spoke after the fight, saying 'Nothing changes, just the fans!'.
