Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kenny Crane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rick Diaz! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz cracks Crane with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Crane gets the takedown into side control. Crane controls the position from side control. Crane decides to stand back up. Crane steps back and let's Diaz get back to his feet. Diaz lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Crane closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Diaz did well to prevent Crane getting side control. Crane prevents Diaz from improving his position. Crane keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Diaz wants to improve his position but Crane is controlling well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz looking for submissions off his back. Diaz trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Crane manages to pass to mount!
Crane avoids the attempt from Diaz to control. Crane sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crane prevents Diaz from getting the reversal. Crane with the ground and pound from mount. Crane takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Diaz tries to hold on but Crane postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is trying desperately to improve position. Diaz wants to hold on but Crane pushes him away. Crane looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crane seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Diaz for as long as he can get away with.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Crane in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Diaz slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Diaz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Crane is working away from the top position though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crane is taking a breather. Diaz says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kenny Crane dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
A left lands for Diaz. Crane shoots in and gets a takedown into Diaz's guard. Diaz is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Crane rolls with it to try and escape but Diaz cranks on the arm and Crane is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
