The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doofenshmirtz plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Gruber fails with a takedown attempt.
Doofenshmirtz throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Doofenshmirtz has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Doofenshmirtz lands a leg kick that knocks Gruber off balance momentarily.
Gruber swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Doofenshmirtz counters with a nice leg kick.
Hans Gruber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That kick from Doofenshmirtz tenderised Gruber's leg. Gruber is trying to keep his angry face on.
Doofenshmirtz moves out of range of the strikes.
Doofenshmirtz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Doofenshmirtz working over Gruber with some ground and pound. Gruber looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Doofenshmirtz is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Doofenshmirtz connects with a nice short shot to Gruber's temple.

Doofenshmirtz seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Gruber is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
