Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Liha Rekka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ruarc Harris!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rekka moves into the clinch successfully.
Rekka tries to circle away but Harris has him pinned against the cage.

Harris works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Harris keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rekka's head.

Rekka is looking to stand up but Harris isn't so interested in that idea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harris thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Harris is stalling in the full guard.

Let's hope that Harris has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Harris stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Rekka tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Harris is able to avoid easily.
Rekka lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Harris just misses with a punch to the body.

Rekka tries to keep at a distance but Harris has taken the fight into the clinch.
Rekka tries a body shot but Harris blocks it.
Rekka wants to stall.
Rekka avoiding damage as Harris throws knees to the body.
Harris tries to stall but Rekka uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Harris dodges an elbow strike from Rekka.
Rekka tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Rekka is pressed up against the cage. Harris has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rekka down to the mat. Rekka avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Harris checks a leg kick.
Rekka throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Harris swings for the body but Rekka moves out of range.
Rekka lands a jab to the nose.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Rekka with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Rekka prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rekka looking to throw knees to the head but Harris is blocking nicely.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Harris breaks from the clinch.
Liha Rekka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Rekka lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Rekka turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Harris lands a leg kick that knocks Rekka off balance momentarily.
Rekka avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Harris pushes Rekka up against the cage in a clinch.
Rekka throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Harris blocks it with crossed arms.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Rekka throws a head punch that misses.

Harris has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Rekka clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Rekka tries to break free.

Harris patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Harris has the hooks in. Rekka is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Harris tries to get the hooks in deep but Rekka pushed the leg off.
Well, with Harris on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Rekka is tapping out... Can he escape the position?
What can Rekka do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Harris is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Rekka with him. Rekka is trying to defend but Harris has an arm under the chin now! Rekka grimaces and is forced to tap out!
