Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Burns's choice of entrance music: break stuff by limp bizkit. Tyler Cage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Cage! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Richard Burns! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Burns tries to bum rush Cage with a series of wild strikes but Cage uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Burns drives through and clinches with Cage against the cage.
Burns misses with a punch on the inside.
Burns misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Cage.
Burns breaks from the clinch.
Burns throws a leg kick that is checked and Cage counters with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cage stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Burns. Cage keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns throws a jab but it's blocked by Cage. Burns tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cage swats him away and circles back towards the center. As Burns looks to move away, Cage throws a big counter combo but Burns just gets out of the way. Burns swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Cage is looking for a counter combo. Burns lands a leg kick that knocks Cage off balance momentarily. Burns drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Burns happy to just control the position for now. Burns trying to control the position but Cage is working away. Burns has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Cage is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Burns yanks on the arm and Cage is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Burns.
