Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Petey Tarfel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Zamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarfel gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Zamora to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Zamora trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Tarfel looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Zamora wants to control from the top but Tarfel keeps moving.
Zamora looking to sit in guard and control but Tarfel gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tarfel slips nicely into half guard.

Tarfel goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Zamora is on top in guard.

Zamora postures up in Tarfel's guard and throws a big left but Tarfel blocks it.
Tarfel is looking for a triangle but Zamora pushes his legs off easily.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Tarfel has his foot on Zamora's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Zamora works his way back into a safe position though.

Zamora must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Tarfel is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Zamora is working to get back to half guard.
Zamora seems to have recovered his senses.
Zamora really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tarfel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tarfel controlling the position easily from mount.
Tarfel has control of Zamora's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Zamora regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Tarfel lands a big shot there that rocks Zamora but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Zamora throws a series of punches but Tarfel moves out of range.
Zamora lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Zamora changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tarfel looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Tarfel is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Zamora wants to control but Tarfel is keeping him busy.
Tarfel has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Zamora is working away from the top position though.

Tarfel is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Zamora doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tarfel.
Tarfel is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Zamora has managed to free his arm - good work.
Zamora is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tarfel scores with a couple of nice shots.

A big strike lands for Tarfel! That's really hurt Zamora and he's turned his back - Tarfel keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Tarfel jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
