Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Oshan Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Bhat Pomkai!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson throws a body shot but no joy.
Pomkai is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Jackson avoids a punch combination nicely.

Jackson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pomkai on his heels. He'll look to pass Pomkai's guard now, I'm sure.
Pomkai is looking to stand back up but Jackson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Pomkai.

Still in half guard, Jackson seems content to control.
Jackson looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Jackson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Jackson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Pomkai is trying to stand back up but Jackson is controlling him
Pomkai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pomkai is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Jackson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jackson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pomkai does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jackson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pomkai has managed to free his arm - good work.
Pomkai is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jackson scores with a couple of nice shots.

Jackson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Pomkai does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Pomkai wants to get back to his feet.
Jackson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Jackson is nestled in close to Pomkai, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Pomkai is looking to improve his position.
Pomkai has hold of Jackson's hands but Jackson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackson scores with a big shot! Pomkai's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Pomkai! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oshan Jackson!
