The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darko shoots for a takedown but Douthit saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Darko shoots for a double leg takedown but Douthit sprawls well. He's pushed Darko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Douthit misses with a looping left.

Darko tries to sprawl but Douthit drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Douthit lands with a punch from half guard.
Douthit wants to control but Darko is keeping him busy.
Darko is trying to get back to full guard.
Douthit tries to pass to full mount but Darko defends it.
The fighters are battling for position here. Darko manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Douthit controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Douthit is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.
Darko is trying to keep Douthit in close.

Douthit throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Darko works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Douthit looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Darko wants to control but Douthit passes easily into half guard.
Darko is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Douthit's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Douthit's back!
Darko has Douthit flattened out and is raining down punches.

Douthit is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Darko gets his way!

Darko working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Douthit is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Darko has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Douthit taps out!
