Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rusoposkinen Clintsari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Maximov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Rusoposkinen Clintsari has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Maximov!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clintsari lands a glancing blow to the side of Maximov's head.
Clintsari connects with a jab.

It looks like Ivan Maximov has been cut.
Clintsari has been working on his boxing with his coaches at KO Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Maximov shoots for a double leg takedown but Clintsari sprawls well. He's pushed Maximov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rusoposkinen Clintsari has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Maximov.

Maximov gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Clintsari regains guard.
Clintsari avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maximov stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Clintsari swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Maximov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Maximov's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Clintsari wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Maximov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Maximov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Maximov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Clintsari moves into range and connects with a jab.
Clintsari is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Clintsari getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Maximov dives in for a single leg takedown but Clintsari sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Maximov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Maximov.
Ivan Maximov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maximov walks into a left hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Maximov has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Maximov there as he acknowledges the shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Clintsari , as that shot connected.
Maximov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Clintsari lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Maximov takes one to the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Maximov closes the distance and pushes Clintsari back into the cage.

Clintsari working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Maximov is still on wobbly legs! Can Clintsari finish him?
Clintsari creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Maximov with a big uppercut! Maximov tries to clinch up but Clintsari pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Maximov to the mat! Maximov covers up and Clintsari unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Rusoposkinen Clintsari decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
