Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shi Fu Tu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blair Darrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darrow works Fu Tu's body with a nice hook.
Darrow misses with a low kick as Fu Tu jumps back.
Fu Tu misses with a low kick as Darrow jumps back.
Darrow throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fu Tu lands a nice leg kick that just misses Darrow's sensitive parts.
Darrow throws a shot from downtown. Fu Tu moves away and avoids it.
Shi Fu Tu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fu Tu lands a slapping body shot.
Fu Tu digs a good body shot into Darrow's ribs.
Fu Tu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Fu Tu tries to bum rush Darrow with a series of wild strikes but Darrow uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Fu Tu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fu Tu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fu Tu throws out a leg kick but Darrow moves out of range and Fu Tu only half commits.

Fu Tu appears to be looking for a big counter.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Fu Tu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Darrow has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Darrow and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Shi Fu Tu is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fu Tu throws a solid leg kick but Darrow takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Fu Tu.
Fu Tu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Darrow is looking to slow Fu Tu down with leg kicks.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Darrow throws out a counter right but Fu Tu avoids it with no problem.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Darrow has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A little jabbing left from Darrow on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Darrow is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Fu Tu rather than just go for the knockout.

Darrow throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fu Tu fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Darrow checks it well.
Darrow looks to land a combination. Fu Tu sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fu Tu, right into the meat.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Darrow steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Fu Tu. That one must have hurt.

Darrow throws a leg kick but Fu Tu checks it.
Fu Tu lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fu Tu lands a leg kick that knocks Darrow off balance momentarily.
Fu Tu connects with a solid leg kick.
Fu Tu is looking to chop away at Darrow's legs.
Fu Tu rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Darrow counters with a straight right hand.
Darrow dips to his left and cracks Fu Tu with an uppercut!

Good leg kick by Darrow there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Darrow stuns Fu Tu with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Darrow might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Fu Tu has got the better of the exchanges.

That's time! Fu Tu's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Darrow does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Darrow moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Fu Tu bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Darrow's head backwards.
Darrow misses with a low kick.
Fu Tu clinches up with Darrow and pushes him back against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Darrow fails to land.
Darrow misses with the head strike.
Darrow jumps guard but Fu Tu stands there with Darrow around his waist. Darrow gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Some bone on bone action there as Darrow checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Fu Tu scores with a spinning back kick!

Fu Tu lands with an uppercut that bounces Darrow off the cage and back into range.
Darrow walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Darrow throws a jab when Fu Tu was well out of range.
Fu Tu throws a nice outside leg kick.
Darrow throws a sloppy head kick and Fu Tu moves out of range easily.
Darrow avoids the body shot from Fu Tu.
A jab lands there for Fu Tu.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fu Tu.

and Fu Tu counters with a left and a right that stings Darrow.
Darrow is rocked!
Darrow lands a nice shot that snaps Fu Tu's head back.
Darrow is still on wobbly legs! Can Fu Tu finish him?
Darrow tries to work over Fu Tu's front leg with a kick but Fu Tu checks it.
Fu Tu cracks Darrow on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Darrow falls backwards against the cage. Fu Tu follows up with more strikes that drop Darrow to his knees. Fu Tu keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Darrow! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shi Fu Tu!
