Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cung Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Warrior's Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Donald Evans! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Evans swats away the attempt to clinch by Lee. Evans scores with a decent looking hook. Lee takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lee, right into the meat.

He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Evans is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lee knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. What's Lee going to do here then? He's in a bit of a pickle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Evans can't do much from the bottom here. Lee tries to stand but Evans is controlling his head. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lee trying to control the action but Evans is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donald Evans dominated that round. That's time! Lee's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lee looks to land a left hand but Evans moved out of range nicely. Lee uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Evans. Lee wants to clinch up but Evans keeps it at a distance. Lee misses with a left hand and Evans counters with a nice uppercut. Evans scores with a decent looking hook. Lee feints and then cracks Evans's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Evans down. Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Good standup being displayed there by Evans as he connects with a hook. Lee tries to move into range but Evans moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee lands a leg kick that knocks Evans off balance momentarily. Evans throws a big shot that misses. Evans shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lee tries to bum rush Evans with a series of wild strikes but Evans uses good footwork to avoid the assault. An inside leg kick lands from Lee. Lee fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Evans. Evans throws a right hand that Lee ducks under and follows up with a left that Lee also avoids with ease. Evans shoots in looking for a takedown. Lee tries to sprawl out of it but Evans keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee wants to slow Evans down by chopping away at his legs. Lee uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. The judges will like that one. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Evans blocks a leg kick. Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Evans manages to avoid it. Lee misses with a leg kick and Evans counters with a shoot takedown. Lee fights it but they end up in guard. Evans tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee looking for a sweep. Not yet Lee, not yet. Evans is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lee has escaped and now he's on top! Evans wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Evans trying to control the position.
Evans has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Evans has control of Lee's left arm, preventing Lee from doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Evans was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee. Lee staying out of range there. Evans missing with a left hand there. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cung Lee. I think Lee has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
