Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Titan Boma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Abbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boma kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Evan Jones - Domination. Tony Abbot has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 12 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Titan Boma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Abbot! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abbot throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Boma. Boma swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Boma throws a series of punches but Abbot avoids them all with ease. The fighters circling - Abbot throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Boma appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Boma definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Boma tries to close the distance and clinch but Abbot swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Boma swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Boma uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Abbot.
Boma was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Boma throws a leg kick and Abbot counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Abbot is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Boma is looking for a sweep. Abbot is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boma is doing well to control the position and prevent Abbot from advancing to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abbot is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Boma wants to get back to full guard. Abbot is trying for a kimura here. Boma looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Abbot wins by kimura!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tony Abbot! After the fight, Tony Abbot was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
