The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rider has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rider lands a hook that snaps the head of Odom backwards.
Rider avoiding damage as Odom throws knees to the body.
Odom is trying to break the clinch but Rider is controlling him.

Rider breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Rider rushes Odom and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Rider's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rider tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Odom was well out of range. Poor timing from Rider.
Odom avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rider fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Odom could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Rider lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Odom scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Odom is looking for a kimura but Rider is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Odom to get the leverage.

and Rider counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Odom was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
