Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Sherk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and damian tyrer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that damian tyrer was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherk looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Sherk is working for a kimura but tyrer is defending it quite comfortably.
tyrer is trying to maintain the position but Sherk is very close to passing his half guard.
Sherk looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
tyrer actively working from the bottom here.
Sherk is sneakily working for an arm triangle but tyrer sees it coming and defends easily.

tyrer is trying to control but can't.
Sherk really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sherk thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing tyrer to regain full guard.
tyrer is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Sherk trying to control but tyrer is working from the bottom.
Sherk controls from within his opponent's guard.
Sherk is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! tyrer is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! tyrer has escaped and now he's on top!
Sherk escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. tyrer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

tyrer should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Sherk looking for a sweep. Not yet Sherk, not yet.

Sherk is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Sherk is breathing heavily.
Sherk looking for a guillotine here but tyrer defends easily.
tyrer is stalling in the full guard.
tyrer in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
tyrer drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sherk dives on top into guard.
Sherk will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sherk makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

tyrer is looking for a triangle here but Sherk uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
tyrer is trying to improve his position.
Sherk is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. tyrer knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
tyrer sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
tyrer is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Sherk pulls his head out easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Sherk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sherk tries to close the distance and clinch up but tyrer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
tyrer has his takedown stuffed
and Sherk counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
tyrer tries to roll over but Sherk keeps him under control.
Sherk tries to pass to full mount but tyrer defends it.
Sherk looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
tyrer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sherk is working away from the top position though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

tyrer has hold of Sherk's hands but Sherk slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Sherk is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
tyrer wants to improve his position but Sherk is controlling well.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
tyrer is pressing down on Sherk's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Sherk postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! tyrer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sherk, into his guard.

tyrer postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Sherk misses with a takedown attempt
and tyrer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sherk's guard.
