Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zeus Tomlinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pablo Esposito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pablo Esposito is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Zeus Tomlinson ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pablo Esposito! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tomlinson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Esposito quickly recovers to half guard. Tomlinson is trying to work for a kimura but Esposito is defending well.
Esposito tries to get to full guard but Tomlinson has control of the leg. Tomlinson content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Esposito misses with some strikes from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tomlinson is keen to just control but Esposito is a slippery customer. Tomlinson performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Esposito tries to kick Tomlinson off but Tomlinson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Esposito is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Tomlinson closes the distance and clinches. Esposito tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tomlinson smiles and moves away.
Tomlinson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tomlinson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Esposito on his heels. He'll look to pass Esposito's guard now, I'm sure. Esposito wants to stand and escape but Tomlinson is having none of it. Esposito working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Tomlinson has passed into half guard!
Tomlinson wants to stand but Esposito has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Tomlinson seems content to control. Tomlinson wants to take a breather but Esposito is having none of it. Tomlinson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Tomlinson is keen to just control but Esposito is a slippery customer.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Esposito fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tomlinson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Pablo Esposito has been cut. Tomlinson drives through and clinches with Esposito against the cage.
Esposito looking to throw knees to the head but Tomlinson is blocking nicely.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Tomlinson manages to break the clinch.
Tomlinson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Esposito shoots in looking for a takedown but Tomlinson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Esposito's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Zeus Tomlinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Esposito. A head kick misses from Tomlinson . Tomlinson closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Esposito is rocked! Tomlinson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tomlinson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Esposito's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tomlinson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Tomlinson is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Esposito wants to sweep but no luck. Esposito escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tomlinson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Tomlinson wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Esposito's closed guard. He's half up but Esposito has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Esposito pivots and extends the arm, Tomlinson falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Esposito! Well done that man!
