Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 9 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jake Theodorou!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nuke Laloosh!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Theodorou changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Laloosh tries to avoid it but Theodorou manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Laloosh to the ground. Laloosh escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Theodorou shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Laloosh pinned against the cage. Laloosh gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Laloosh! But no joy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Laloosh digs a right hand underneath Theodorou's ribcage. Theodorou let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Theodorou tries to score a body lock takedown but Laloosh shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Laloosh lands a leg kick that knocks Theodorou off balance momentarily.
Nice takedown defense from Laloosh. No joy for Theodorou on that attempt.
Theodorou dives in for a single leg takedown but Laloosh sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Laloosh looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Laloosh stuffs the takedown attempt from Theodorou. Theodorou gets slowly back to his feet.
Theodorou sets himself, and Laloosh steps forward looking for the clinch! Theodorou avoids it this time.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Theodorou decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Theodorou thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Laloosh's head.

Theodorou has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Laloosh has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Laloosh has hold of Theodorou's hands but Theodorou slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Theodorou thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Theodorou looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Laloosh with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are battling for position here. Laloosh manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Theodorou bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Theodorou wants to control but Laloosh is keeping him busy.
Theodorou lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Laloosh down.

It looks like Nuke Laloosh has been cut.
Theodorou in side control, throwing shots but Laloosh defends.
Laloosh tries to buck Theodorou off but Theodorou is having none of it.
