The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malcoms throws a jab but it's blocked by Gannicus.
Gannicus looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Malcoms defending well as Gannicus loads up on a big left hand.
Gannicus avoids the body shot from Malcoms .
Malcoms keeps the fight on the outside.
Gannicus moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

The fighters circling - Gannicus throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Malcoms throws a hook but Gannicus avoids it easily.

We've been informed that Gannicus has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
