Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Bezerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clark Kent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clark Kent told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Bruno Bezerra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Clark Kent! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kent shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bezerra as he jumps to the side. Kent shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bezerra sprawls well. Bezerra wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kent gets slowly back to his feet. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kent closes the distance and clinches up with Bezerra, looking for a takedown. Kent pushes Bezerra against the cage but Bezerra circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bruno Bezerra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clark Kent. Horrible takedown attempt by Kent or perhaps it was just good defense by Bezerra, which made it look bad. Kent has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bezerra. Kent on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bezerra. Bezerra obviously looking to wear him down.
Bezerra digs a good hook to Kent's body.
Kent tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bezerra sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kent somewhat. Bezerra jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like Clark Kent has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kent takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kent shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bezerra but Bezerra pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've been hearing reports that Bezerra has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Kent scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bezerra is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kent sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bezerra defending well though. Bezerra keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bezerra moves into full guard.
Bezerra is adopting a defensive guard. Kent pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bezerra is keeping the position for now. Kent loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kent throws a big elbow that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bezerra preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kent throws a strike but Bezerra rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Bezerra preventing the sweep. Kent has his foot on Bezerra's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bezerra works his way back into a safe position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kent looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kent keeping full guard, as Bezerra tries to pass. Kent looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bezerra is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Our spies down at at England Fight Club MMA inform us that Kent has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Kent working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bezerra doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bezerra manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kent looking for a guillotine here but Bezerra defends easily.
Kent wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Kent is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Bezerra lands with a hook. Kent tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Bezerra lands a big right hand that sends Kent crashing to the mat! Bezerra stays standing though and waves Kent back to his feet!
Kent is rocked! Bezerra lands a nice shot to the body.

Bezerra connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Kent is still on wobbly legs! Can Bezerra finish him? Bezerra lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Kent out cold! Kent is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bruno Bezerra!
