Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Refugio Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edo Bambuch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edo Bambuch will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Refugio Chandler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Edo Bambuch!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chandler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bambuch.
Chandler was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Bambuch throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chandler was covering up waiting for the punch and Bambuch finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bambuch trying to control but Chandler is working from the bottom.

Bambuch avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Chandler could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Bambuch got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chandler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bambuch has managed to get both his arms back between Chandler's legs - danger averted.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chandler looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bambuch stops Chandler from standing up.
Chandler has control of Bambuch's left arm, preventing Bambuch from doing any damage.
Bambuch must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Chandler continues to stall.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
A combination from Chandler does no damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Chandler avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Chandler thinks about countering with a head kick.
Chandler pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bambuch changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chandler looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Chandler sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chandler is refusing to be controlled, as Bambuch sits in half guard.
Chandler is looking for a sweep. Bambuch is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chandler tries to roll over but Bambuch keeps him under control.
Bambuch is pressing down on Chandler's thigh, looking to free his foot. Chandler is holding on for now.
Chandler tries to get to full guard but Bambuch has control of the leg.
Bambuch is looking to stall here but Chandler recovers full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Chandler is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Bambuch presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Chandler is fighting off a takedown attempt but Bambuch is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Chandler to the mat. Chandler regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Bambuch slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Chandler pulls Bambuch in close to prevent any damage.
Bambuch trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Chandler wants to sweep here but Bambuch controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Refugio Chandler will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

A control attempt from Bambuch but he's now mounted!
Chandler lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Bambuch can't escape the position.
Chandler is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bambuch can do to turn this around?

Bambuch takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Chandler's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
