Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Mcneil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcneil tries to clinch but Stark is having none of it.
Mcneil looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mcneil lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stark has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stark and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Trevor Mcneil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcneil misses with the combination.
Stark slips under a jab.
Mcneil throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stark.
Stark shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Stark has control of Mcneil's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mcneil regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Stark jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Mcneil manages to avoid the submission attempt.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Stark gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Mcneil looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Stark shoots for a double leg takedown but Mcneil sprawls well. He's pushed Stark's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mcneil keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Mcneil lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Stark backs up against the cage.
Mcneil drives through and clinches with Stark against the cage.
Stark tries to pull guard but Mcneil won't allow it.

Stark jumps guard but Mcneil stands there with Stark around his waist. Stark gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Stark changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mcneil fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Stark wants to finish this one by submission but Mcneil is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Stark.

Mcneil bucks Stark off and manages to get back to his feet!
Mcneil stuffs the takedown attempt from Stark. Stark gets slowly back to his feet.
Mcneil throws a series of punches but Stark avoids them all with ease.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stark trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcneil is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mcneil wants to get back to his feet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Mcneil doesn't manage to clinch there - Stark circles away.
Stark tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mcneil keeps the fight on the outside.
Danga de danga de dang - Stark scores with a four punch combination!
Mcneil gets caught flat footed, as Stark shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Stark won't allow Mcneil to get back to his feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stark, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
